Recently I learned of a trick to keep matched socks together. By using a safety pin and a Braille plastic or metal color label tag, pin the paired socks together with the label. After wearing the socks re-pin and label before washing. This will ensure that the correct colors will stay together. This is especially great for someone who has many pairs of different colored socks. As for myself I solved this problem many years ago. I purchased all black dress socks and all white athletic socks. Now, just by touch I can tell if it is a black dress or white athletic sock. I also reserve the option of cheating by asking my wife.
